The red snapper season is now open, and they are everywhere.  Come on down and get you some.   Gag grouper opens on July l.  King mackerel are thick and ready to be caught.

New Tournament on June 9
With the cancellation of Wicker Bill's Salt Water Classic in Port St. Joe and the Blue Water Outrigger Charity Classic, another tournament has been born in Mexico Beach.

On June 9 there will be the Golly Whopper Classic held at the Mexico Beach Marina.  The two species fished will be King Mackerel and Red Snapper.    There will be a big captains' party on Friday night with good sausage and drinks.   Go to www.mexicobeachmarina for complete details.
